Rescue Dogs 101 Training Education

My goal is to educate new dog owners
and stop dogs from being returned to shelters.

Most people that get a dog have an idea of how they want that dog to behave. They want their dog to be perfect, always come when called, get along with dogs, kids and people. But dogs aren’t born to understand people, so it’s our job to train our dog to understand us. So please don’t expect to adopt a dog, walk through your front door and be perfect. We as dog owners have the responsibility to train our dogs to understand right from wrong, what SIT, DOWN and COME mean. All dogs have a different personality, just like people, and therefore there is no one training technique that is perfect for all dogs.
